Day 1 – Upon arrival at Sandakan Airport or your Sandakan Town hotel, embark on a rich cultural journey beginning at the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, witnessing the orangutans’ feeding and educational documentaries. Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre and visit the commanding Puu Jih Shih Temple for a panoramic view. Lunch at a local restaurant precedes visits to St. Michael’s Church, Sandakan’s Central Market bustling with local life, and the Sim-Sim Water Village showcasing houses atop the water. Return to your Sandakan hotel for check-in. At 7 PM, relish local flavors at a nearby restaurant before returning for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Following breakfast, head to Crystal Quest Jetty for an hour’s boat ride to Selingan Turtle Island. Enjoy lunch and leisure activities like snorkeling or swimming with equipment available for rent. Evening brings the rare experience of witnessing turtle egg laying at the hatchery. Overnight at the comfortable Selingan Island Chalet.
Day 3 – Early breakfast leads to a return from Selingan Island and a 2-hour overland journey to Gomantong Cave, exploring its grandeur as the largest bird’s nest cave in Sabah. Continue to Sukau or Bilit at Kinabatangan, checking into your lodging with basic facilities. The afternoon river cruise offers encounters with proboscis monkeys and diverse birdlife. After dinner, consider a night walk, weather permitting, for an immersive experience. Overnight at Sukau or Bilit.
Day 4 – Start the day with a dawn river cruise for birdwatching and wildlife spotting, followed by breakfast. Depending on weather conditions, a jungle walk precedes lunch, and an afternoon river cruise offers more wildlife sightings. Dinner and overnight at Sukau or Bilit.
Day 5 – Depart Sukau or Bilit after breakfast for an overland transfer to Kundasang. Visit the Sabah Tea Garden for a factory tour and tea plantation insights, followed by lunch. Proceed to Tagal Luanti for a unique fish massage experience, then check into a Kundasang hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6 – Begin the day with a trip to Poring Hot Spring, traversing the Canopy Walkway and lowland forest trails for wildlife and scenic views. Lunch at a local restaurant precedes a guided tour of Kinabalu National Park’s Mountain Garden, showcasing rare mountain flora. Conclude with an overland transfer to Kota Kinabalu for hotel check-in, culminating this diverse and enriching journey.

No Red/Bright Clothing, No Jewellery, and Do not carry food into the reserve.
Raincoat, hat/cap, insect repellent, sun lotion, drinking water, extra batteries for the camera, torchlight, leech socks (for jungle trekking), good walking shoes/sandals, and casual wear are recommended.

- All reservations must be completed before the departure date.
- No refund is available for cancellation after the tour has commenced or in respect of any accommodation ground transportation or any other services.
- If you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, a cancellation charge of 50% of tour fees will be imposed.
- Accommodation: A 100% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of the total accommodation cost is required to confirm the reservation of all types of accommodation i.e. Chalet, Hotel, or Resort. A fee will be imposed if any amendment, cancellation, or number of persons or rooms reduced is made after the booking is confirmed.
- Changing the date is only available for those tour packages which don’t include a chalet, hotel, or resort on Island once the booking has been confirmed.
- If the number of travelers is an odd number, a single supplement (adult or children) with an additional 70% charge of the adult price is applicable.
- Child Policy:
- The child rate is 70% of the adult rate.
- The child is an individual aged 2 to 10 years old (Proof of birth certificate is required).
- The child rate is applicable when traveling with TWO (2) paying Adults.
- Important Details:
- Changing date is NOT available after the booking is confirmed for the accommodation on the island.
- In the event that ONE (1) Adult and ONE (1) Child will be considered as 2 Adults tour fare.
- Selingan Turtle Island accommodation is a Private Twin Sharing room with an attached Bathroom and Aircon.
- Accommodation at Selingan Turtle Island is a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child below or equal to 10 years old (1 extra bed) only in one room. No triple rooms.
- We highly recommend all tour members purchase accident, baggage, and general liability insurance to protect their travel plans.
- The organizer has the sole and absolute discretion to cancel or shorten the duration of any tour in the event of force majeure, hostilities, accident, or other circumstances beyond the control of the organizer which render it necessary in the organizer’s reasonable opinion that such steps be taken. The organizer shall be relieved from all liabilities and obligations resulting therefrom. The organizer assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, damage, loss, or accident with any services resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, strikes, government regulations, theft, failure of any means, discrepancies, or changes of which it has no control.
