Embark on an enriching full-day tour to explore the orangutan and proboscis monkey sanctuaries, along with the sun bear rescue and rehabilitation centers in Sandakan. This comprehensive itinerary includes visits to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, and the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary, offering a unique and immersive experience with these remarkable creatures.
Experience a seamless meet and transfer service upon your arrival at Sandakan Airport (flight TBA hrs) or from your hotel lobby in Sandakan between 0815 – 0830 hrs. Begin your day with an overland transfer to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, where you’ll witness the feeding of orphaned orangutans and view an insightful documentary. Morning feeding occurs at 1000 hrs.
Following Sepilok, continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. After the tour, enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant. Post-lunch, embark on an overland transfer to the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary, passing through scenic oil palm plantations. Witness the captivating feeding of the Proboscis monkeys and watch an informative documentary. Afternoon feeding sessions are at 1430 or 1630 hrs.
Conclude your tour with a transfer to Sandakan Airport (flight TBA hrs) or a drop-off at your hotel in Sandakan.

- All reservations must be completed before the departure date.
- No refund is available for cancellation after the tour has commenced or in respect of any accommodation ground transportation or any other services.
- If you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, a cancellation charge of 50% of tour fees will be imposed.
- Accommodation: A 100% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of the total accommodation cost is required to confirm the reservation of all types of accommodation i.e. Chalet, Hotel, or Resort. A fee will be imposed if any amendment, cancellation, or number of persons or rooms reduced is made after the booking is confirmed.
- Changing the date is only available for those tour packages which don’t include a chalet, hotel, or resort on Island once the booking has been confirmed.
- If the number of travelers is an odd number, a single supplement (adult or children) with an additional 70% charge of the adult price is applicable.
- Child Policy:
- The child rate is 70% of the adult rate.
- The child is an individual aged 2 to 10 years old (Proof of birth certificate is required).
- The child rate is applicable when traveling with TWO (2) paying Adults.
- We highly recommend all tour members purchase accident, baggage, and general liability insurance to protect their travel plans.
- The organizer has the sole and absolute discretion to cancel or shorten the duration of any tour in the event of force majeure, hostilities, accident, or other circumstances beyond the control of the organizer which render it necessary in the organizer’s reasonable opinion that such steps be taken. The organizer shall be relieved from all liabilities and obligations resulting therefrom. The organizer assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, damage, loss, or accident with any services resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, strikes, government regulations, theft, failure of any means, discrepancies, or changes of which it has no control.
