Embark on an enriching 3-day exploration near Sandakan, diving into diverse sanctuaries and iconic landmarks. Day 1 – Upon arrival at Sandakan Airport (flight TBA hrs) or from the hotel lobby in Sandakan Town at TBA hrs, transfer to Crystal Quest Jetty. Take a scenic one-hour boat ride to Selingan Turtle Island. Check in to a chalet with basic facilities and savor lunch at the cafeteria. Enjoy leisure time for snorkeling, swimming, or other activities. After dinner, await the ranger’s call to witness the fascinating turtle egg-laying and visit the hatchery. Overnight stay at Selingan Island Chalet.
Day 2 – Begin your day with an early breakfast at 0630 hrs before departing from Selingan Island back to the mainland. Travel overland to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, observing the morning feeding of the orangutans at 1000 hrs. Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Later, embark on a roughly 2-hour journey to Sukau or Bilit at Kinabatangan. Check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch, and then take a 1600 hrs boat cruise along the Kinabatangan River, spotting proboscis monkeys and diverse wildlife. After dinner, engage in a night walk (weather permitting). Overnight stay at Sukau or Bilit.
Day 3 – Indulge in breakfast at the lodge and depart at 0800 hrs for Gomantong Cave, renowned for its bird’s nest harvesting. Return to Sandakan afterward. Explore Puu Jih Shih’s colorful Chinese Temple offering panoramic views. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit St. Michael’s Church, Agnes Keith House, Central Market, and Sim-Sim Water Village, each reflecting unique local culture. Conclude the tour with a transfer to Sandakan Airport (flight TBA hrs) or your hotel in Sandakan.

No Red/Bright Clothing, No Jewellery, and Do not carry food into the reserve.
Raincoat, hat/cap, insect repellent, sun lotion, drinking water, extra batteries for the camera, torchlight, leech socks (for jungle trekking), good walking shoes/sandals, and casual wear are recommended.

- All reservations must be completed before the departure date.
- No refund is available for cancellation after the tour has commenced or in respect of any accommodation ground transportation or any other services.
- If you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, a cancellation charge of 50% of tour fees will be imposed.
- Accommodation: A 100% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of the total accommodation cost is required to confirm the reservation of all types of accommodation i.e. Chalet, Hotel, or Resort. A fee will be imposed if any amendment, cancellation, or number of persons or rooms reduced is made after the booking is confirmed.
- Changing the date is only available for those tour packages which don’t include a chalet, hotel, or resort on Island once the booking has been confirmed.
- If the number of travelers is an odd number, a single supplement (adult or children) with an additional 70% charge of the adult price is applicable.
- Child Policy:
- The child rate is 70% of the adult rate.
- The child is an individual aged 2 to 10 years old (Proof of birth certificate is required).
- The child rate is applicable when traveling with TWO (2) paying Adults.
- Important Details:
- Changing date is NOT available after the booking is confirmed for the accommodation on the island.
- In the event that ONE (1) Adult and ONE (1) Child will be considered as 2 Adults tour fare.
- Selingan Turtle Island accommodation is a Private Twin Sharing room with an attached Bathroom and Aircon.
- Accommodation at Selingan Turtle Island is a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child below or equal to 10 years old (1 extra bed) only in one room. No triple rooms.
- We highly recommend all tour members purchase accident, baggage, and general liability insurance to protect their travel plans.
- The organizer has the sole and absolute discretion to cancel or shorten the duration of any tour in the event of force majeure, hostilities, accident, or other circumstances beyond the control of the organizer which render it necessary in the organizer’s reasonable opinion that such steps be taken. The organizer shall be relieved from all liabilities and obligations resulting therefrom. The organizer assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, damage, loss, or accident with any services resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, strikes, government regulations, theft, failure of any means, discrepancies, or changes of which it has no control.
