Day 1 – Upon arrival at Sandakan Airport by flight TBA hrs or from your Sandakan Town hotel lobby at 0815 – 0830 hrs, start your journey with a transfer to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to witness the feeding of the orphaned orangutans and a captivating documentary video. After this enlightening experience, head to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Your exploration continues to Puu Jih Shih, an ornate Chinese Temple offering panoramic views of the surroundings. Lunch at a local restaurant precedes a visit to the observation pavilion for a bird’s eye view of Sandakan and the historic Agnes Keith House. Your day concludes at the Central Market, a vibrant hub for fresh seafood and local produce, followed by a tour of Sim-Sim Water Village, home to houses built above the water by local tribes. Check-in at your Sandakan hotel, and in the evening at 1900 hrs, embark on a culinary adventure with dinner at a local restaurant. Retire to your hotel in Sandakan for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Begin your day after breakfast with a pick-up at TBA hrs from your Sandakan Town hotel, transferring to Crystal Quest Jetty for an hour-long boat ride to Selingan Turtle Island. Upon arrival, settle into chalets equipped with basic facilities and enjoy lunch at the cafeteria. The afternoon is yours to explore, with options for snorkeling, swimming, and leisure. As evening falls, witness the fascinating spectacle of turtles laying eggs and visit the hatchery after dinner. Overnight at Selingan Island Chalet.
Day 3 – At 0630 hrs, savor breakfast before departing Selingan Island for a 2-hour overland transfer to Gomantong Cave, known for its vast bird’s nest collection. Continue your journey to Sukau or Bilit on the Kinabatangan River. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. At 1600 hrs, embark on a boat cruise to witness the playful proboscis monkeys and the rich wildlife along the Kinabatangan River. Return to the lodge for dinner and engage in a night walk, weather permitting. Overnight at Sukau or Bilit.
Day 4 – Rise early at 0600 hrs for a morning cruise, indulging in birdwatching and wildlife spotting before breakfast. Depending on weather conditions, take a jungle walk and return for lunch at the lodge. At 1600 hrs, set out on another river cruise to explore more wildlife. Afterward, dinner and an overnight stay at Sukau or Bilit.
Day 5 – Post-breakfast at 0700 hrs, journey from Sukau or Bilit to Kundasang. Tour the Sabah Tea Garden, gain insights into tea production, and visit Tagal Luanti for a unique fish massage experience. Check-in at a Kundasang hotel and enjoy dinner before retiring for the night.
Day 6 – Departing Kundasang after breakfast at 0800 hrs, head to Poring Hot Spring. Experience the Canopy walkway amidst lowland forest trails, witnessing diverse wildlife. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore Kinabalu National Park’s Mountain Garden. Your day culminates with a 1 ½-hour overland transfer to Kota Kinabalu Town. Check-in at your Kota Kinabalu Town hotel, followed by dinner at 1930 hrs at a local restaurant. Overnight in Kota Kinabalu Town.
Day 7 – Commence the day at 0800 hrs with a transfer to Kota Kinabalu Jetty for a boat ride to Manukan Island in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Enjoy lunch on Sapi Island and explore coral and marine life with provided snorkeling gear. Later, visit Kawa-Kawa Mangrove, indulge in afternoon tea, spot wild proboscis monkeys, and witness the mesmerizing sunset and fireflies. After dinner, return to your Kota Kinabalu Town hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8 – At 0800 hrs, depart for Mari-Mari Cultural Village, experiencing the authentic lifestyle and culture of Sabah’s tribes. Following lunch at a local restaurant, engage in a Kota Kinabalu City Tour. Visit landmarks like Yayasan Sabah, Phu Thou Se Chinese Temple, the Handicraft Centre (Filipino Market), the Sabah State Mosque, and the Sabah Museum to explore the region’s historical and cultural heritage. Concluding the tour, a transfer to Kota Kinabalu Airport by flight TBA hours marks the end of your memorable journey.

Raincoat, hat/cap, insect repellent, sun lotion, drinking water, extra batteries for the camera, torchlight, leech socks (for jungle trekking), good walking shoes/sandals, and casual wear are recommended.

- All reservations must be completed before the departure date.
- No refund is available for cancellation after the tour has commenced or in respect of any accommodation ground transportation or any other services.
- If you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, a cancellation charge of 50% of tour fees will be imposed.
- Accommodation: A 100% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of the total accommodation cost is required to confirm the reservation of all types of accommodation i.e. Chalet, Hotel, or Resort. A fee will be imposed if any amendment, cancellation, or number of persons or rooms reduced is made after the booking is confirmed.
- Changing the date is only available for those tour packages which don’t include a chalet, hotel, or resort on Island once the booking has been confirmed.
- If the number of travelers is an odd number, a single supplement (adult or children) with an additional 70% charge of the adult price is applicable.
- Child Policy:
- The child rate is 70% of the adult rate.
- The child is an individual aged 2 to 10 years old (Proof of birth certificate is required).
- The child rate is applicable when traveling with TWO (2) paying Adults.
- Important Details:
- Changing date is NOT available after the booking is confirmed for the accommodation on the island.
- In the event that ONE (1) Adult and ONE (1) Child will be considered as 2 Adults tour fare.
- Selingan Turtle Island accommodation is a Private Twin Sharing room with an attached Bathroom and Aircon.
- Accommodation at Selingan Turtle Island is a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child below or equal to 10 years old (1 extra bed) only in one room. No triple rooms.
- We highly recommend all tour members purchase accident, baggage, and general liability insurance to protect their travel plans.
- The organizer has the sole and absolute discretion to cancel or shorten the duration of any tour in the event of force majeure, hostilities, accident, or other circumstances beyond the control of the organizer which render it necessary in the organizer’s reasonable opinion that such steps be taken. The organizer shall be relieved from all liabilities and obligations resulting therefrom. The organizer assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, damage, loss, or accident with any services resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, strikes, government regulations, theft, failure of any means, discrepancies, or changes of which it has no control.
